DPCheckIns Recap: 5 Lessons Zeta Taught Me

In celebration of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.’s Founders Day, their #ourgirls mentorship campaign and National Mentorship Month, I shared 5 Lessons that Zeta has taught me about being not only a Finer Woman, but an overall better person.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Know Your Role
  2. Leverage Your Uniqueness
  3. Own Your Voice
  4. Let People Gravitate Toward Your Authentic Story
  5. Be Willing to Be A Mentee; Decide to Be A Mentor

What are some lessons your organization has taught you over time? Share with me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

I’m new to Zeta and I’m really excited about this new journey. I’m hoping to gain and learn as much as I plan to give to Zeta.

Ayyyyye! Welcome to Zetaland love! I’m sure you’re going to do excellent things for your chapter and for this organization. Just make sure you know where you can contribute that stays authentic to your skills and who you are. And don’t forget to find some balance. That’s important. It doesn’t have to be Zeta, Zeta, Zeta all the time. Proud of you and glad to call you Soror Lashawn! =)
