Divine Nine Devotion: Scriptures to Help Greek Organizations Prepare for the Year

In everything I do, I strive to give God the glory in my thoughts, in my words and in my actions. Whether it’s in my personal life or in a group environment, when I use the Word of God to guide my every day life decisions, the end results are always humbling and amazing. One of the things I appreciate most about my sorority is that we start our chapter meetings off with prayer. When you cover your organization in the blessings and blood of Jesus, it elevates your chapter and chapter members to levels you could never dream of.

During my first year of Greek life, there were things that didn’t align with who I was at my core. As with any organization, sometimes, things can get a little messy. From time to time, internal and external discrepancies can create hostile and awkard situations for members and spectators alike. In those moments when I wasn’t quie sure how to handle these situations, I used my scriptures as a base to level my mind and my emotions.

Because I want you to have a blessed school year (or chapter year if you’re in Grad chapter), here are a few scriptures that will help you re-evaluate, refocus and realign your thoughts, words and decisiosn when you’re placed in difficult circumstances. Love yall!
